Hello! I'm back with Day 14 of my Korea trip. I hope the information I've posted so far is useful in your trip planning ^^
First stop was actually the post office because all four of us wanted to mail our excess baggage back to Singapore. In the past I've always gotten several emails on how to EMS your stuff back via EMS if you've bought way over your baggage limit in Korea so hopefully this will answer your questions about the procedure.
First up, if you do not have your own carton box, you can select the size of your choice and head to the counter to purchase it.
This time around I've realised that Korea Post is also providing cardboard boxes lined with bubble wrap so you can choose either the plain one or those lined with bubble wrap. Note that the boxes with bubble wrap only has one layer of bubble wrap, weighs heavier than the normal boxes and costs more so please factor this in when choosing the type of box. My tip would be to go with the normal boxes if you're just shipping back cosmetics/clothes/food - line you mask packs on the bottom as protection or wrap your fragile items with clothing that is being shipped back as well.
Head to the packing counter where tape and scissors are provided free of charge for you if you buy their boxes. Don't buay pai seh and use it when you bring your own box ya lol. Super tak glam.
Lastly, seal the box and fill in the EMS form that is available at the counter. For the sender address, you can choose to put in the address of your guesthouse/Airbnb place because that's what I always do. Bring the box to the counter for International Postal Services and let the staff weigh it. You'll then pay the charges and then it's done! The post office staff will then take your parcel away and you can expect it in Singapore within the next 2-3 days.
I am not too sure how the charges go but the rule of thumb is the more heavy your package is, the cheaper it becomes per kilogram. I shipped back 24kg this time round and paid below SGD100 for the postal service. Please do not ship back any liquids like vinegar drinks or alcohol are a big no-no because liquids/aerosols cannot be shipped internationally. You will have to declare what is inside the box and they may check it at the customs so my advice is to just don't ship any of those items. Just drink all you want while in Korea HAHAHAH!
FYI I was at the large post office in Myeongdong, directly opposite Shinsaegae Departmental Store. This is one of the few post offices that operate for half a day on Saturdays.

Ok now that we've all gotten the EMS shipping done, time to move on with our last full day in Seoul's activites which is - cafe-hopping!
Headed back to The Min's once again because Stella wanted to buy more merchandise so off we went to Apgujeong once more. You can read about our experience the previous day here.
Bought another hot drink because I needed the caffeine boost and also tried the meringues. I love meringues but sometimes they come off as wayyyyyyy too sweet so thankfully this was quite yummy and well-balanced.
Changmin's parents were there too and they were very surprised to see us again because we were there just less than 12 hours ago only. Didn't stay long as we were rushing for time so we bidded them farewell and to take care of their health before going to our next destination.
Next stop was this tteokbokki place called Miss Gong Tteokbokki that was featured in the Korean drama Hi! School - Love On starring Woohyun and Sungyeol from Infinite.
I didn't follow the drama but Wanjun and the bff did so they wanted to visit this place and see how nice the food was lol. And caress the table and chairs Woohyun sat on/used. Hehe.
Directions
Take the metro to either Sinsa Station (Exit 1), Apgujeong Station (Exit 3) or Hakdong Station (Exit 8). You can follow the map below for directions to the shop.

Because we were still quite full from the last cafe, we decided to just order 1 tteokbokki and 1 portion of mini kimbap to share.
I like how the tteok is actually in a ball shape, kinda like the bubble tea pearls but made out of rice flour. The tteokbokki is actually spicy so be warned if you are like me and cannot take too spicy food. I think I ended up eating most of the chips on top of the tteokbokki.
Mini kimbap was fantastic as all kimbaps are haha. I really want to have this in Singapore but I have never seen it being served at Korean restaurants though. I think I'll just need to practice harder on making this myself SIGH.
Left the tteokbokki place and went to our next destination - NIT Coffee which is owned by Woollim Entertainment's CEO and conveniently located directly opposite the new Woollim Entertainment building ^^
Directions
Take the metro to Mapo-gu Station Exit 3. Walk along the main road till you spot Motor Cube on your right. Turn into the alley and walk straight ahead till you see the first lef turn. Turn into that road and you'll see the Woollim building/NIT Coffee.

It feels pretty surreal to be near the Woollim building because Myungsoo is so near yet so far SOBS. Alas we weren't lucky enough to spot any idols so into the cafe we went.
Cafe is actually very chic and modernly decorated. There were plenty of tables available and there were quite a number of people doing some school work and studying as well. Very quiet and nice ambience actually if no idols appear to cause any ruckus lololol.
Yup, ordered drinks here again. Second caffeine intake for me and I got very tempted by the cakes and garlic toast. Couldn't resist it and asked the girls to share with me. Share the love and calories yo! :D
Food-wise was so-so and nothing to shout about really. I guess the cafe was opened to suck Inspirits' money actually xD
Cannot miss taking pictures of her and her attempts to take pictures with a zoom lens HAHAHAHA!
Ok anyway, we're almost at the end of Day 14. 2 more places to go and these will be included in the next entry.
Bye!
